I have the older version of this sub. I must say that it is well worth the money. I have it hooked up to a very nice planet audio amplifier that bridges down to a half ohm and pushes around 1500 rms. I have it turned up about 2/3 of the way and this one sub broke the windshield in my dodge dakota

its alright i had a Dual 2x12 exclosure before and it had better overall sound quality, i have it hooked up to a 600w alpine and if i turn my volume up about 3/4 of the way it starts to lose quality, i i listen to hardcore and it tops out on some of the break downs other than that its a kicker its reliable

If you are looking for a sub that will make people look then this sub is for you. I have an audiobaun amp thats pushin 800 watts rms at 2 ohms and it pounds. I use to have two kenwoods hooked to the same amp and this one kicker is way louder then them and it has better sq then them too. My friend has two 12" kicker cvrs hooked up to the same amp in a kicker enclosure and my kicker l5 dominates those two. Way to go kicker.
