This was the first time i ever purchased a radio, and im glad i chose this one as the first. The sound quality was phenominal, and the usb imput is a great feature. the only downside is that u HAVE to change songs on the ipod by the interface, but thats all. Great buy.
i have alot of stereos in my day and this is the best one yet clarion is a great stereo it does every thing you want and more the sound quality is great and my mp3 player works great the extended bass is real powerfull you have to have a amp and some nice subs so it dont destort this stereo has alot of power great stereo nice price fast delivery thanks ocs stereoman
great product. No distortion at high volumes and great looks at night. A little slow on options and not too many features but i guess it gets the job done for the money!!!
the best cd player i had in my 25 years if buyinghave all i'm looking for plus more!!!!
The only detraction from this is that the radio channel controls are not intuitive. Once you read the manual, the directions are pretty straightforward. The entire line of the USB/AUX input is great. I routinely download podcasts on a flash drive and then plug into the USB port. Not as elegant as an iPOD, but just as functional. The AUX input has already seen use from my Daughter's ipod and constant service from my XM radio. And the radio receiver is best in class as well. Very nicely done.
its a good ass cd player but the problem i have is the track changer fucks up badly it sicks and don't work half the time so keep ur remote on hand
I bought this for the front panel USB outlet. I no longer play CDs, just use thumbdrives. Great sound, but non-intuitive controls. You have to read the manual thoroughly. It has an equalizer that works pretty good.
I usually don't rate anything with 10s, but this, my first Clarion, is a really nice head unit. It replaced an Alpine 9815, which had issues but produced really clean sound. The learning curve is about 1/2 hour, and then everything is pretty simple. Lots of tweaks, and 6 volt pre-outs is something I wanted from the start. My only complaint, and it really isn't one, is the fact that I have to get used to using a "push-button" volume control rather than a rotary encoder, but, it doesn't really matter because the quality is really apparent. I also didn't want anything too flashy (I could really care less about flying dolphins on the display), and this is perfect. It shows the necessary information without the visual "candy". I'll leave that to someone who needs to impress someone else with pretty lights and flashy stuff. Anyway, If you want clean sound and display, with great features, this one's your Huckleberry! Can you dig it?
I purchased this radio for my fiance and had it installed (professionally)radio worked ok then put a cd in 2 sec of music smelt radio burnning then nothing.couldnt get cd out sent radio back havent herd anything been a month had to purchase a new radio plus reimburst for cd seeing how it was a gift and now she had no radio good luck cant give review seeing how radio diddnt work long enough to review
I got this unit mainly because it has 6 volt preouts and a shitload of features. The usb port is the best new technology and I want another for my other car. It makes cd's look...old! Bout time.
