I've had these speakers for about 4 months now, i admit i play them regularly over the rms limit, i probably push them at 100wt regulary. at first they were fine but after about 2 weeks of the abuse they started to make a slapping noise when they played any loud bass, so that sucked. BUT. then i got some subs and switched these to high frequencies only and they play the highs perfectly, at 100rms. all day everyday. so for bass i wont recomend, for highs, there good.

Hernizzle - You r suppose to connect these speakers only to an 80x4 channel amp. The 80 watts is the "continuous power." 80wx4 channels = 320 peak power watts stressed these speakers beyond the manufacturer's recommendation which would void any warranty. I hope this helps.

great balance of highs lows mids when powered by any reciever. My pioneer mekes them sound crisp.
