Since the early 1990's I've had everything from those old school 4 foot long Earthquake amps that require 5 batteries, The Hifonics zeus amps, The Fosgates amps, The Audiobahn amps...etc. Just bought this (amp advertised at) 5,000 watt Boss Outlaw amp, running 2 Alpine 12's in a 7 series V12 BMW and replaced 2 600 watt hifonics amps with it, so far so good, amp seems very reliable and has two cooling fans which is great for long trips with the tunes cranked (not sure why the dual fans aren't advertised, it's a great selling point) but it really doesn't feel like a true 5,000 watts, more like 1,000. I first tried it in a CL Benz V12 Coupe with 3 Audiobahn 12's and it sounded very weak. For the price it's a good investment, but honestly this was my third choice behind the Alpine M2000, 2,000 watt class D amp that for some strange reason this company can't seem to get yet and the Hifonics 10,000 watt amp that I don't have the correct speakers for yet.
