Product Reviews For Boss Audio LA53

  • Very good sound for a very good price. I put them in my 94 Dodge Dakota with a pair of Boss D57.2 5"x7" and the sound is a great upgrade.

  • I bought two pair of these for my Civic hatch and have them pushed with Lightning Audio B4.250.2 Amplifier. I couldn't believe the difference in the sound quality. The mids and highs sound a million times better. For the money, I didn't think they were going to make as much of a difference as they did. Definitely worth the money.

  • Awesome product sound incredibly clear, i havent hooked them up to an amp yet but still verry lould. This a verry stylish proudct, even the magnet have some serous style to it! I was verry satisfied with this speaker but the terminals had a tendincy to break and the speaker could use more mounting options.

  • This is a great speaker! It has better bass and much cleaner sound than the 6.5" 4-way Pioneer TSA-1680R's they replaced. Had to lower the gain on my 50-watt rms Clarion amp just a little because the bass maxed out on the Samantha Mumba "Baby, Come Over" track from her Gotta Tell You CD. The Pioneer's handled it without a hitch though. So I moved them to the rear panel to replace the Kicker KS525's which sounded fine until I added the Clarion 4-channel amp last week. On Mariah Carey's "Stay the Night" The Emancipation of Mimi CD, the Kicker's tweeter couldn't handle her voice. My 05' Scion Xb sounds nice! I have two 15" subs (one is a Boss Blade)running off two Boss Riot amps.
