better than stock speakers distort easily probably going to toss them but ill hook up an amp first and see if they fry.
i have these hooked up to a 4 channel power acoustik cyclone vent amp and they deliver the sound that is expected out of pioneer..cheap but loud..a resonable upgrade
my friend has these in his jeep they sound so damn good so i went and bought me a pair these are the best 6 1/2 's out there as far as i am concerned. pioneer rules

just bought these, have had pioneer speakers before, they deliver excellent sound with just about anything you hook them up to. time tested and good value.
a really good speaker at a really good price i have them hook up to a pioneer head unit and no amp is needed they sound great they lack bass but they make up for it in highs just get a sub i would recommend getting a set
