This was a replacement for a factory unit that the CD player went bad on. It went into a 2004 GMC Envoy. I had to custom make the mounting brackets for the side mounts (1x1 aluminum angle) and cut some plastic out behind the unit as it was the same size as the old unit except for the heat sink in the back. I like the features of this unit although I am not using them all at the present time. I am ready for the future. I'm enjoying the great sound and the equalizer is awesome. The only drawback to this unit for me is that I am used to seeing a clock all the time and the clock is only visible when you are using the radio function in either the AM or FM mode. This unit is a great value for the money and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a fixed screen LCD and not anything that is motorized.
Unit is very impressive for playing dvd's. Playing an ipod or memory card through the usb is great, but the words are hard to read. Only one resolution. Getting radio stations is limited. Reception is poor.
Great unit, purchased as a replacement for my stock deck. But has quite an oversized double din design , required some finesse fitting it in the car. Had to customize brackets and shave off part of the aftermarket dash kit. Otherwise nice unit with lots of options.
bought one a couple of years ago.didnt know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised.great sound,very clear picture when playing dvds.awesome head unit for the big system that i had in my caddy.cant go wrong with this one!
