I really liked this amp. because it really fit what i was looking for good sound quality with filters and it doesn't overheat
I have this amp hooked up to two dual voice coil mtx 7500 and the amp puts out very clean loud bass.
first amp iv ever had...have it hooked up to a single 12" arc audio woofer in a sealed box...pushes the sub great and if its wired for a 4 ohm u get all 500 watts ...snds good and looks good just seems to get really warm especially when u more than just ur system in ur trunk
nice clean amp ....blew out a 12 in arc audio sub with it already lol just mess around with all the settings n u might avoid this im def planning to add another 12 to it because theres to much power for 1
i was worried about the site at first, not sure if i would get what i paid for. But they came through and this amp is an awsome buy. i have two audiobahn 12s and they are slapin in the trunk with this amp. very good buy for your money.
got one and hooked them up to 2 10s fosgate with 250watts a peace need to get the kenwood 1000watts this site is a money saver bought the fosgates for $150 @ car adio exprees big oooppppsss.
this amp is nice for the money. Iwas like it is to good to be true i saw this same amp in the store for $400 nice sound lots of base pushing 2 fosgates 10s.
This amp is pretty good for the price, you cant go wrong. I have it hooked up to 2 12' Type S in a ported box in a 2005 Grand Am and it pounds pretty good. Makes the stalls at the car wash rattle lol.
NO gain control is the main issue I have with this amp. IT smells like its burning when i play stereo at higher levels.
I have a capacitor and this amp on two kenwood excelon 12's in a custom box. They sound nice. The bass remote with frequency control makes the system very tunable for any type of music. Never overheats! Kenwood is always a good choice for the price!
I have this powering two Boston G1 12"s in a large slotted box. Honestly, the box and the amp contribute more to the sound you will hear than the sub itself. With that being said, This amp is a fantastic product. It does not get hot no matter how high i turn it up, and makes my subs vibrate the snow off my rear windshield. I talked to a certified Kenwood dealer about this amp. Honestly, you wont be getting 1000 watts out of it if you hook it up stock as is. You need a capacitor and some low gauge wire (2 or 4) to deliver the full 13-14 volts from the battery. Without that, you'll be feeding it 12V and will honestly only get about 600 watts max. add the capacitor and you'll be able to bump it up to 800 max. But nevertheless, this is still a fantastic buy, worth every penny.
I got two JL Audio 10W6's with dual 6 ohm voice coils in a custom built inclosure and this amp pushes my subs perfect. clear sound and almost two much base ( if there is such a thing ) Keep in mind that i am running this amp with a 1.5 ohm load and have never had a cut out or any other problems with it when it is only rated for a 2 ohm load. I would recomend this amp to anyone with a budget or not
A GREAT amp for the price! i have a kenwood kfc-3012 and this shit bangs. If you are trying to find your first system then buy this amp and the kenwood kfc 3012.
