Product Reviews For Kenwood DNX5120

  • Nice system, easy to use and seems to have good clean power for mids and tweets, havent hooked up subs yet. Navigation is simple to use and seems pretty accurate. Dvd has good picture quality and very good color detail. I would strongly recommend this unit, maybe there are alot better out this but being that this is my first nav. system it suits my needs.

  • This Navigation system has lots of good features, from XM radio, Sirius radio,DVDs bluetooth, Ipod,USB port and GARMIN GPS. The GPS is a classic Garmin system. Easy to use, and great features, from voice direction ect... This is the best part of the hole system. DVDs seem to be hard to operate without the remote, but the picture quality seem to awesome. The USB port may be hard to find a place for it with such a short cord, but the head unit handles large MP3 players well *IE mine is 1 gig, but have had 120 gig hooked up to it* The XM raido and Sirius take two parts and Kenwood part and a XM or Sirius part. Putting you out around another $118. But all well worth it. The bluetooth sysetem KA-BTA200 is a nice feature, but is rather trickey to get to work clearly. *IE Glovebox is the best placement* I can't speek for the IPod, as I don't have one. But all in all this is a Great GPS system, a little price to add all the other gizmos, but still well worth that GARMIN.

  • Just put it in my Eclipse. WOW! The GPS is better than my Lowrance on my boat And it cranks. Tried every feature and is impressed. Buy the remote for DVD watching. Try remotes

  • I like the functions and ease of use. Feature loaded, but no XM traffic nav so upgrade to get it. Nits: I use XM 90 percent of time. Sometimes boots and doesn't recognize the XM receiver, sometimes boots and recognizes it but no audio with it. Easy fix, switch to Tuner, wait for sound (right away) then switch back to XM. Picks: Nav is nice, easy to use, audio warnings are good. Overall satisfied with unit, but might upgrade for the Traffic, if Serius/XM doesn't go belly up first.
