Unbelieveably amazing. This added to another hifonics 2000watt class D and nobody can believe this insanity. No one touches hifonics in the bass car amp industry. No one has the following or competes with their prices. The power is raw, clean and satisfactory times ten.
i have two audiobahn aw1200v and this amp pushed my subs to 134.6 db untuned with the bass on the stereo.. i very much would suggest this amp its amazing and i love it
Relatively small for the onslaught of power it produces (Bargain Priced Also). Highly efficient... I maintain 13.8 Volts (At Full Blast) with just an Optima Yellow Top and a 1.5 farad cap!!! Powers two Alpine Type R 12s at 1ohm total. Stays room temp after 2 to 3 hours of punishment. Did I mention it produces CLEAN SIGNALS to the woofers? You had me at hello HiFonics... Ecellent work!!!
I had this amp almost three days when it started smoking and then stopped playing. It was wired at 2ohms and it honestly sounded freakin awesome. I was very impressed. When I put my main power fuse back in, it starts smoking again. To the best of my knowledge the only thing that could have caused this would be that vibration shook something loose inside the amp. It was poundin'. But My buddy bought 2 Hifonics Titan 1500w amps from OCS and neither of them lasted more than 4 days. I am very dissappointed.
I HAD THIS AMP HOOKED UP TO 2 12'OZ AUDIO'S, AND MY WHOLE CAR WAS SHAKING, MY TRUNK WALLS WAS FLEXING. HIFONICS DEFANANTLY COMES OUT WITH THE MOST POWER AND CLEARIST AMPS I EVER HEARD. NOW I GOT THE 1600 SUPER CLASS D BRUTUS, I GOTTA GET 2 MORE 12'S TO TURN THE AMP UP
I have to admit, this amp seemed amazing when I bought it, (NOT FROM OCS, FROM FRY'S ELECTRONICS) I just thought I'd let everyone here know WHY. The amp's looks are a total facade. The amp was supposed to power my JL 12W7 and to replace my MTX JH1200. The MTX sounded great but wasn't powerful enough. This was more powerful and didn't work the least bit.
ONE WORD = FANTASTIC !!!! i got this amp down stable to 1ohms and it rocks the crap out of my 12" kickers
With this amp, I am running two Audiobahn 15's very similar to AW1571T. But mine are 4 ohms DVC. The duo is wired down to 1 ohm. I have a kinetik cap killer as well. Kicker 4 gauge power and ground. This amp, with the gain 2/3 the way up and the bass boost 1/4 the way up, will over drive my subs easily. Very powerful. Most power for your dollar and you get a well built amp. Highly recommended. Not quite 1200RMS but, not every car runs at 14.4 volts... darn close though. Can't go wrong. Optimum battery is a must if you are going to put this amp in a small car. With this amp, don't bother pushing anything less than 400~500 watt RMS subs. They will pop. Still got that burnt voice coils smell from that Kicker 06S12L7-2 that popped in my car....
Good tight bass,awesome sound quality got it pushing a pioneer 12 at 2ohms in sealed box. perfect if you like heavy metal, pounds with DR.DRE. good bang for your buck it kicks ass , hits even harder if you run it with a cap. amp even runs when its -30C
i have this hooked up to a 15" kicker L7 and this thing throws out sum serious power.. Its under powered by 100 watts but u can tell the difference
I'm running a single 10" pioneer premier. Dual 2-ohm voice coils. So it's running at 1-ohm. Amp is turned up about half-way. It has plenty of power to spare. I would definitely recommend this product. Can't beat for the price.
its a pretty good amp its a lil over priced on this site though i bought it for 180. i have it hooked up to my 12 inch cvrs wired to 2 ohms and it knocks hard i need new 12s thouhj cuz there is so much power i can only turn the gain a lil past half way.
ive had this amp hooked up to a 15" kicker CVX and recently switched to an L7 in a ported box. Both were wired to 1 ohm. This thing puts out some power its been over 6 months and i never turn my music down, no problems at all. My BMW is rattling to pieces.
I bought my amp about 4 months ago. I have it down to 1 ohm on two Audiobahn 12's. I have no complaints with this amp. I have purchased MANY amps throughout the years and this is the most powerful one I have purchased to date. I like it so much I just purchased a BRUTUS 1610D amp eairler this week for my other car. I am gonna go with the Orion HCCA 2 ohm DVC 12 in a custom built box with the factory specs..."SILVER BACK GORILLA IN DA TRUNK fo sho!"
I've been into car audio for well over 20 yrs. and have owned just about every name brand that you can think of. This amp is superb. The reproduction of bass is raw and extremely powerful. Quality is top notch as well. I live in the desert and the temps in my trunk well exceed 130 degrees easily and this amp has never skipped a beat! There are a few bad reviews of this product that you'll see and all i can say is those people HAD to have done something wrong. I know the difference between a good and bad amp and this is up there with the best of em for a fraction of the price. Unbelievable.....try it for yourself and you won't be disappointed.
Great amplifier. I have it hooked up to 2 Pioneer 1000 watts dvc. Sounds incredible. I had it hooked up to 2 Hifonics 600 watts each adn I blew them the 2nd day. This amp is a monster.
I have two of these amps on two spl 12 inch subs. and I can't b elieve how strong these amps are. I was amazed at how much they put out. I also have a 200 watt two channel brutis for my mids and highs and I have yet to find a set of component speakers that can withstand the amperage this small amp puts out. I am nery pleased with this product and will reccomend this to anyone!
I have the 2600 watt and a 2000 watts Hifonic Brutus and it's all love with the power. I push this amps for at least 4 hours one time and the amp never got hot. I had Crunch and it was garbage compared to these. Only problem I have is I need a bigger amp. 2600 watts is on 15" Alphasonik's in a ported box. Broke 2 windows already and tested it on a meter scale and it is still not enough power for those speakers.
Bought and sold this amp before I could install this in my car when a friend heard my other hifonics! These draw notice.
