Product Reviews For Infinity 60.9cs

  • I had the infinity 2 way reference series in my car and I upgraded to these. These speakers are amazing. They are louder, clearer, and give you more sound detail. I can not imphasize how clear and cripy they are. They sounded better right out the box and I haven't even broken them in yet. Even songs you may not care about sound good through these speakers.lol You will need power though, I am running them off a 2 channel, 2ohm 200 watt RMS per channel Sony amp. (One thing to note, the tweeters are huge and they may not fit your factory location if you have one.

  • Just put them in a 98 Sierra, they sound amazing! The only thing is that there is hardly any low, awesome highs and great mids, make sure you order a sub with these.

  • these speakers are great mid bass and highs but.... the tweeters will blow if you put too much on them had to replace twice and got some other tweeters after the second time i blew the kappa tweeter and put the nice kappa cover on the kicker tweeters and it fit after some super glue looks just like the original kappa tweeters... no problems since but the woofer that comes with it is huge and it wont blow..... i got the kappa 4 amp and its 150 watts rms thats the reason i keep blowing the tweeters are only 50 watts rms 150 peak... but over all i would buy again

  • I bought these and after a few days the tweeters went out , next , the woofers started to distort and now are just cicks and pops (crossovers i assume), i had them hooked up to a kicker 2010 350.4 with the gain at 35-40% the amps rated at about 65 watts rms 4 ohm. before they went out I also installed a pair of polk DB6501 components and wow they are so much louder , clearer , higher , and lower then the infinity's by such a massive ammount , my complete view pf Infinity has changed

  • Had them 3 days before 1 tweeter blew. Luckily the vendor gave me warranty. Besides that, they sound great. Hooked up to a fosgate 400w. amp, mated with 6.5" coax rear speakers which also sound great. If your worried about blowing the tweeters, push the button on the crossover.

  • I just got these installed a week ago in a 01 durango. These are awesome! I also installed an alpine ktp 445 at the same time. The difference between these and the Pioneer 6.5 coaxials that were previously installed is night and day. Very good bass response, and the tweeters are amazing. I had read previous reviews about the allen key that comes with them being too cheap. I agree. It is very tiny, and I had to solder the speaker wire to the contact. As soon as you feel the allen screw start to tighten, stop. that is all they need. Any more, and either the wrench or the screw will strip. Once installed, though, I was glad I made this purchase.

  • I replaced some "old school" MB Quarts with these units. I put two in my front doors and two in the back. All I can say is wow. The sound is nearly flawless. The brightness of the tweets are great; my head unit and equalizers allow me to shape them to my liking. What really blew me away was the range, I am pushing them with an Alpine F600 (4 X 150 @ 2ohms) and I honeslty cannot turn them beyond 10 on my head unit. The sensitivity is great and they really complimented my two subs. I was pleased with my MB Quarts, that is until I upgraded to these. The price is excellent and the sound is even better.

  • I bought these to replace what I thought were blown Focals, but it turned out my cheap amp had a bad channel. Not a total loss, great sound and 90w RMS. Infinity is an amazing product and I would buy again.

  • After 2 yrs with the Infinity 60.9cs they are still going strong and have not had any signs of giving up. These are mounted on my 2012 GMC Sierra which were perfect since they have a universal type speaker frame that gives you fit options for OEM spaces. The big UHF tweeters not so much, but they are flush mountable which is what I did to not have to cut up the truck too much. Just a couple of small holes for screws and speaker wire. I'm a DJ mostly playing urban music and latin, so I have many different sounds going through these. Heavy Bass and lots of percussion. I am very pleased with the performance of these speakers as they offer a good range of sound. The only thing is they are a bit too pronounced on the Highs, so I would recommend using the -3db setting on the crossover to limit that from being too tinny. It's great that they have that feature. Anyway like I said 2yrs going strong. I am that guy that still bumps the stereo for all to hear around my Block. It does BANG hard and with good sound. I do have Infinity Kappas in the other speaker spots as well which there is a reason for that. I'd would like to especially Thank "OnlineCarStereo" for having the best pricing around on the Infinity Kappas which actually made it possible to afford such quality products.
