Love em Love em Love em. Have them installed in a Silverado with an old 50x4 JBL amp driving them and a couple Polk MOMO 8s adding the bottom and it just sounds stellar. Several years ago I followed the IASCA competitions and remember MB Quart winning everything. I also remember pricing a set of their higher end stuff then for about 350 bucks. Well when I was shopping and found these so cheap I just had to try them. They sound clear and crisp without being too bright. The crossovers seem to be put together really well. Great sounding speaker and the price is perfect. If I had to complain it's that the tweeter wires are soldered on and not very long and the mids came with no wiring whatsoever. I'd still recommend them though even at 50 dollars more. I'm ordering another couple sets soon for my other vehicles. Man, I just love them.
No comparison over my stock speakers in my 99 Audi A6. These fit right in with no kits, and love the design of these as there is a thick lip allowing easy undermounting inside the door at the stock location. Tweeters fit in perfect also. Easy installation and very good sound. Descent bass for everyday use and clear overall sound. Perfet balance between price and performance for me.
Dont let the price fool you, these MB Quarts are the real deal. i added an amp to em and they are screaming in my car with complete clarity and no distortion. i highly recommend them to anyone who is serious about car audio.
This is given 5 stars since you can't find this quality anywhere for this price. I don't see how anyone can spend 500.00 on component sets when this does what they can do. I will be purchasing a second set. What a great value! Smooth and clear all the way up.

These sound awesome in my quad cab dodge cummins. I mounted the tweeters at ear level in the back doors and I cannot belive how much it woke my truck up. Well worth the money. The new head unit helped a bunch too.
Excellent Sound Quality Components, I replace a Set of Pioneer Premier components with the Formula Series MB Quart's Wow! They are smooth and vocals are placed well in the center of the soundstage. I was used to the High 93 db per 1 meter Speakers taken out, but after listening for a few minutes you get used to the Superior Sound these make. In layman terms, 85 Decibels per 1 meter, is not a screamer, but it has very accurate music production for the price!
These speakers are an amazing buy... Installed two sets of them in my Xterra yesterday and am completely satisfied so far. They are powered by my JVC deck that puts out 34 RMS, so I dont think I will amp them. They really put my factory set up to shame, and for 59.00 bucks a piece how can you be disappointed. The mids and highs are fantastic and the amount of bass exceeded my original expectations which is awesome. I am still gonna throw in a 12" sub because my SUV is pretty big, but for most cars and people these speakers put out enough bass. Beware however, installation is a big undertaking and not just for these but all component speakers, especially if your going to run two sets (Front and Back) of them like I did. If you don't have any experience installing car audio and want a professional to do it, it has the potential to run you between $200-$500 dollars depending how you car is set up. But other than that these speakers wont let you down.
sound very clean for the price..an old school 4 channel phoenix gold amp to power these should make them sound crispier
Just installed a pair in my Dodge Quad cab front doors and a pair od MB Quart FKA 116 in the rear doors and the sound is out of this world.
Near audiophile sound without a huge price. Helped produce my best sound system so far. Excellent highs and mids. Amp and sub required to make system load and full.
i was actually looking for a pair of JBL GTO's for my Seat Ibiza for the front stage... and i saw them at this car audio shop for cheap... wooo can't be wrong with MB Quart!!! holly mon!!! they sound HEAVENLY!!!! I JUST LOVE THEM!!!! even when i play them with my OEM head unit!!! MB stands for "MUY BIEN"!!!!!!!
Just put a pair in the front of my Durango. I have them paired with 2 ASK Ferrari Speakers that I frankensteined into my truck and the sound is amazing. Crisp highs, rich mids. The only thing I could say that is a minus about these is the dB sensitivity. 86? really? Oh well, just cant crank it as much as I used to. Overall a great buy for the quality.

These speakers are as much MB Quart as a 924 is a real porsche. The only advantage to these over my stock (whizzer cones) is that these new ones are not blown. I have them ran in the stock door locations with baffles powered off of a pioneer 3200BT
