  • This headunit sounds amazing. the quality is outstanding. the 7 band eq lets you tweak the sound to perfection. not worth a 10 though, because the multi function knob can be frustrating. the face also lacks useful buttons like pause. other than that, its a great player. the USB function is sweet. theres a list button you can hit and scroll through all the music as a song plays. very cool. its pioneer. expect the best.

  • A very good unit. works with itouch first generation with the USB cable that comes in the box. cool feature with that is, if im listening to music, the passenger can still play games on the itouch and it charges it too. but u have to have the white usb cable the ipod came with or buy the high speed cable, but i have the white and works fine. overall, great unit. i would highly recommend!

  • Great output with decent user friendly program. The clock is nearly impossible to set. If you like playing more around with an adjustable EQ go for a Kenwood Excelon. I've used both and had mixed reviews myself. Overall this deck has many features that most do not with the iPod capabilities. Honestly in my opinion it sounds the best when you are in the iPod mode. Decent buy for saving dollars in your wallet.

  • I've had this unit for over a year. A little tricky to sort thru the setup interface (setting clock, etc.) but if you read the manual these features are all explained. I wish you could change the display color, the blue is completely different from the colors in my '08 Altima. Needs a mute button. The CD player works well and I have an 8 GB flash drive loade with a library of MP3's. I'm running thru a set of Infinity Kappa speakers and the sound is good. The AM/FM radio reception is lousy, since I'm connected to an XM satellit unit, that is never needed.

  • I went from a $300($650msrp) Pioneer DEH-P7800MP with a full color screen, 16 band eq, onboard sound staging, 5v preouts, and extensive crossover controls to this HU. I'm very impressed to say the least. It may not let me adjust 16 bands of frequency, but 7 band equalization still gets the job done with satisfactory results. The crossover is great, graphics ain't bad, and a 4v preouts never hurt anybody. Better than most HUs in this price range with only 2.0-2.5v preouts. I run 4 Fi Audio BL 18s in a 30 ft3 box tuned to 34hz powered by 4 JL Audio 1000/1 amps and a 300 amp alt with 4 Stinger batteries and this HU is runnin the show with authority. At this, price you would be a lil' bitch if you'd want more then what your getting here.

  • Pioneer makes excellent head units. Originally i had two amplifiers hooked up to it and didnt use the speaker connections. Recently i hooked up a sub and connected my car speakers to the unit and wow!!! I didnt need a second amp after all. The high and low settings are really usefull to.

  • I bought this to replace the stock in my 06 Mustang. I was running 2 Kenwood 12" w3's off a line out converter and was getting crap quality. The minute I put this in, those hit harder than I knew they possibly could. I also have the iPhone and it says its not supposed to work with it, but I plugged it in and it works just the same as a normal iPod. I have the aux in running from my laptop so I can watch movies and run iTunes off of that with just as good of quality. All around, I'd say this is the most solid audio investment I've made for my car
