Product Reviews For Autotek SM1-1500

  • For the money, this is an awsome amp. I have two of these pushing four 15inch solobarics wired down to one ohm. The only problem is that the mounting brackets are plastic and i have cracked them on one amp in less than a month. Great amp.

  • I have this amp pushing a 15" Crunch Ground Pounder. The Autotek logo glows bright blue. I have abused this amp for over 300 miles straight and had it all the way up the whole time. I have never blown a fuse or have had any problems with it. Great amp! Have had it for three months now. THIS AUTOTEK AMP IS A CRUNCH PRODUCT!

  • Back in the day autotek was the best cheater amp money could buy. So I purchased this amp with high hopes and was certainly not let down. This amp has a lot of raw power, and clarity for the price. I have it running 2 P3 Rockfords in a ported box facing forward at one Ohm. The amp is only 1/4 of the way up (No need to turn up anymore)and it POUNDS!! I have owned several very expensive amps over the years and this autotek might be my favorite, time will tell.

  • Pretty Good Amp, for the price its great, had it in a Tahoe for a about 3 months pushing 2 HiFonics 12's. And to Cobalt-T/C, it is a Maxxsonics product. Crunch is a brand under Maxxsonics. As is HiFonics, and MB Quart

  • i would love to know how zookeepha is hittin 146.4 db with only 1500 watts. U sure it wasn't like 14.64db ha!

  • well if you knew anything about car audio and the right box configurations you would believe he hit a 146.4 db dumb ass. Just because it says 1500 watts doesn't mean it is even pushing that much. if you have a 100 amp fuse in your power cable the amp is only pushing 1000watts thats not even including the fuses on the amp. So do some research before you go running your mouth. btw autotek amps are usually under rated.

  • Yeah but he is talking about his gain setting like it is a volume knob lol complete idiot. Why does everyone think its a volume knob? Gain has nothing to do with how loud your system is. You could have the gain all the way down but if your head unit puts out a high voltage through the rca's then your basically running the amp at full power.
