  • I bought 2 sets of these and matched them to the DSC480 MB multi-amp. These are the best comps Ive ever owned and half the price! I warn you though, the tweeters with housing are about 2 inches not 1.5

  • Upgraded from an older 5 1/4" MB Quart R series set. They are definitely an upgrade from what used to be in my car. The RSI is able to produce much better lows, as can be heard in the bass guitar or hits of a drum. The clarity is excellent, though not perfect is probably the best you can get for this price and is much better than my previous set. Do not expect to get much thump from these, they are great in the front doors (where i put them) complimented by a sub in the trunk. As for the tweeters, they are surprisingly omnidirectional and spread throughout the vehicle very well. Previous tweeter sounds were blocked if object was between you and tweeter, but not anymore (unless you cover them). The highs are very crisp, though a little bright on normal settings. This can be fixed with the crossover, which I used to dial them down. At the moment I have about 70w RMS going to each and they get seem to handle the power very well. The tweeters is they are quite larger than my previous ones, but fit fine in the doors and look stylish. Also, you cannot mount the tweeters in the stock grill, I thought it might be an option, but it isn't.
