I've just installed these in my '98 Honda Prelude and the sound is incredible over the stock speakers. I highly recommend these for the price.
I owned Pioneer speakers before but this one doesnt impress me at all particularly with the sound quality. I had some Clarion speakers before and they sounded a lot better.
These speakers are a considerable improvement over O.E.M. factory speakers. They're tough, inexpensive, and easy to install. Understandably,their SQ is not comparable to good component speakers.
JUST BAUGHT THIS SPEAKER TODAY FOR 45 .,, SOUNDS CRISP AND CLEAN I GOT IT HOOKED UP UP TO AN ALPINE AMP..;} PIONEER ROCKS MY SOCKS
to be honest... i run an amp that puts out 100w @ 4ohm to each speaker... alpine type s were garbage and clipped or w.e your wanna say. even with high pass filter set properly , bass turned down the alpine just sucked ... so i ordered a set of these. still same 100 w @ 4ohm and so much louder at same volume so much clearer no breakup at all in speakers no clipping ... these are much better then the alpines im sure people will disagree but to each there own and these were better for price
