This is a newer modle than mine, Had mine for 2 years and they are great. Full of sound. I suggest a sub with any system, as no full range will go that deep with power. But if you have no sub, then these will still let you love your music. Very clean sound with well ballanced full ranhe. I do recomend. Hard to better Pioneer.
I highly doubt any other 6.5 inch 4-way speaker can compete with the precise sound quality of Pioneer. The high frequency these speakers generate allows you to experience every detailed sound imaginable. I prefer the three C's which Pioneer speakers offer..(crystal,clear,clarity) than distortion with unknown off the wall name brand speakers.
Excellent speakers for the price, highly reccommend these. good bass and liked the fact they came with everything u needed to wire them up.
bought two set of these for my old accord and was running them with a pioneer four channel and the detail was awsome. three years of heavy abuse and one of the tweeters finally gave. i was running the speakers with three quarters of there rms rating for that period so it was expected theyd give sooner or later. also recommend a sub with this set up as the mids and high are fantastic but the bass leaves something to be desiredr
