Overall the amp is very versatile. I am running it in bridged mode (4ohm) pushing 2 Power Acoustik SL12s and the bass pounds quite hard...the SL12s are 4OHM Dual voice coil subs with 90oz drivers and 500w rms power handlight to give you an idea of the load the amp is seeing..The amp comes with a bass remote and is also very easy to tune and set up. The blue backlit HIFONICS logo is also hot too. My only complaint about the amp is that it is not making ANYWHERE near the 1000w rms HIFONICS claims.. I would estimate that it is not making any more than 650w rms.. If it made any more than this it would have already blown my fuse on the main power line and this hasnt happend yet even with all the gains turned up and the volume to the maximum level.
The hifonics is fantastic. They make your world move. To the satistisfied question of the gentleman above... the amp is not rated at 1000 rms. If you are getting 650 rms out of this amp you are receiving way more than it is rated for. Way to go. Expect performance near its claim of 440. Thanks onlinecar stereo!
just got this amp a few days ago, sounds great as long as you run it in high pass mode,,so if you already have subs and want to boost your highs this is great but if u want to use this for full pass mode with no subs I would not buy this one..but it worked great with my ma audio..highs..and alphasonic subs...hifionics makes good stuff if you have the right set up for it...
