Its in a sealed enclosure in a 2007 Dodge ram console box it hits hard......... but it could be better I think. I got a BOSS 3500 D class mono running it too. Buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where do i start... I had two 12" Pioneers packing 800RMS @1ohm Hooked up to a Hifonics BXI1608D mono amp, tuned up at 60%, I new what to expect. I blew them out within a month. I came across these beasts and they caught my attention. I have these subs connected @1ohm to the same Hifnoics BXO1608D and a new power capacitor and The Epicenter. Let me tell you these subs can hit just about any beat. The bass is amazing in my Acura RSX, the subs are in a Ground shaker ported box, but soon i will buy a custom box for these monsters. Overall Pioneer have made very good products, these subs can handle more than what i am feeding them. Last, The prices are incredibly low, compared to other subs and stores. Weird... I have the sameexact system as Big Zo. same amp and one sub. They go together well. If your looking for bass buy this. If your looking to make the sscrews loose in your car...then buy 2. This sub is really nice.
I have 2 of these groundpounders and I think they are worth every penny. If you want serious bass without spending serious loot, invest!!! I'm running a 5000 watt mono-block and have them in a ported box and heads turn and windows shake everywhere I go.
These subwoofers are solid. I build a custom sealed box for them and they are loud. I have the settings on my amplifier set to nothing but bass, because thats what they were made for.
These subs rock. I have 3 with a custom triple vented enclosure and only running a kicker 1500 class d to all 3. THE BASS IS HAZARDOUS. Plan on running a second 1500 kicker class d in the future
i have four of these speakers the sound they put out is top of the line want to up grade but what for i think every one should try these speakers
incredible for the money i have a 1800 kenwood amp with only 900 watts rms at 2 ohms going to them in a poted box and they are pretty insane. 129.8 on the decimeter in the front seat. not bad for 2 cheap subs
i have two of these running off the 4000w premier spl amp and the whole car quivers when the stereo is on definately money well spent on these subs
I've got 2 of these subs in a 98' grand am with a 4000watt mono block power acoustik amp in a daul ported box, I have them running at 2 ohms they hit pretty hard but they are still under powered and my amp is maxed out... its a really great buy if it get the right amp to push them
im running 2 of these subs with 2 hifonics 1500.1's and you cant go wrong. this system hits harder than my T1s by far for half the price. you cannot go wrong with this set up
got 1 of these from here, put it in a lil square sealed box, in a single cab, wired it down to 1ohm to tha lanzar mxa3000 also from here, get sum niiice cleaaan deep bass. not so much mid but still powerful, go wit the sealed if ur runnin one, and run it at 1ohm, probly get urself a cap too, my lights dim a grip! jus need my cap charged an hopefully will help, not tryin to get a new alternator... anyways very good sub, pioneer came thru. jus wish i didnt have a p.o.s. kenwood deck ha. but waitin on my pioneer componets to come in an see how they run together. great buy! OCS is where its at! ^_^
Hello my name is Jim i am from Michigan, I purchased two of these speakers from onlinecarstereo. I would like to comment on this website and the people at the office are VERY Helpful, they delivered my product like Promised. The prices on the website are unbeatable. These two speakers bump so hard in my trailblazer. I have a Class D 1800 Watt Audiopipe Amp and I wired both of these speakers at 2 ohms. Make sure you wire these speakers at 2 ohms. I am very happy with these speakers but my neighbors hate it so i turn down the stereo when i get a block away if you want some speakers that will Shake everything in your house while your sitting in your vehicle get these and get the 1800 Watt Class D amp by audiopipe you will not be dissappointed. Got two of these beast running in my Tahoe with special built ported box behind third row seat. Powered by a massive n4 4000w amp. Bass is tremendous. Can't hear my hertz component set
got 2 of these in a custom built non divided dual ported box (3.96 cubic feet) in the rear hatch area of my 01 formula firebird. powered by a lanzar dct5001d (5000 watt) amp and have a lanzar vcap3000 (30 farad) hybrid capacitor. with my pioneer head unit and the amp tuned to max bass i have managed to shake my ride to the point that i now have to replace both outside mirrors (broken supports) and also the rear hatch latch (bent all to hell). the capacitor is junk, dont buy it. mine worked for about 2 weeks then went out. the amp is powerful and full of nice tweaks to get the sound desired. the subs are just plain awesome. the lows are so deep and powerful that it makes my ears and jaws ache after only a few seconds. to sum it all up, if you want to break your car and piss off every neighbor on the block, get these subs and make sure to add more space than the suggested box sizes. at least double the cubic feet and throw an amp that is a monster at them, believe me, they can handle it easily. oh, and 1 more note to those that have t-tops. if its raining and your junk didnt leak before, turn down these subs or you will get wet from the roof flexing and the seals on the glass becoming unseated with each beat. dont find out the hard way like i did.
I have 2 of these in a ported box and ran by 2 Volfenhag German concept amps. They hit so hard that I have to turn the bass to negative 20 just to hear words. I love these subs. Highly recommended.
Had it installed in my car for 6 months and it hit hard and sounded good until the cone broke. The 1 year limited warranty only covers manufacture defects. not recommended.
Awesome sub. I recently wanted to by two more but i guess they stopped production sadly. But I still got this beast thumpin.
