Holy **** these things are crazy the highs are so bright but backed up by super loud mid range vocals it evens out just right these thing were the loudest. played them at the club in parking lot everybody else turned there music off WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOSTON KILLERS!!!!!!
I have to say these handle crazy power and are loud. If you have the power to throw at them, it will handle it and you get very clear and detailed POWER.. can add JL and Diamond to the list it KILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW!!! These component speakers are amazing. Superb sound quality: Contains a woofer, tweeter, and another speaker for your mids, hence, the 3-way. I have these hooked up in a 2002 Chevy Silverado, and they are powered by MTX T604 Thunder Elite Amp. These speakers are VERY LOUD and can handle tons of power. Stevie Wonder can hear these things. The sound is crystal clear at any volume. The only bad thing about these speakers was the timely installation. Overall: I would recommend these to any music lover.
I hope you guys are right as I am about to have the word record holding southeast SPL guys install this set into my 97 BMW M3 as well as the Cadence ZRS-5K component set. This set for the kickpanel and the doors and the ZRS for the back deck. I am powering the 2 sets with the Rockford Fosgate P4004 with will throw 100 watts RMS at each channel. In the trunk I am having a custom fiber glass box put in to hold 2 Fosgate Punch 12 inch Stage 3 woofers which is powered by the fosgate Power series T1500-1BDcp I went ahead and bought a 1000 crank amp battery and a competition fosgate cap to protect my system. i am runnin the kenwood excelon kdc-x994 head unit to control it all and pray that spray foam in every crevice and 2 layers of dynamat extreme keeps the nuts and bolts from fallingout!!
I have a pair of these in the front stage of my car running 150 watts of Hifonics power as well as my rear mid bass speakers. In my rear stage I'm running a pair of Cadence CVLW-69 6x9 mid bass along with a Pair of Power Bass cross overs and tweeters. For my subs I'm running a pair of JBL Pro 12's in a Pro Box Super Bass series Model 212SPB ported enclosure. I'm running a Hifonics HFi1500D at 1000 watts. I cant ask for a better 3-way set up. Nor can I ask for a better rear stage set up for my mid bass. I've got people asking about my system constantly commenting on the staging and how clean my entire system sounds. A deffenate 10+ for a 3-way speaker system. A deffenate 10+ for a mid bass set up. If you're seeking a solid 3-way speaker set up then look no further.
