Product Reviews For Kenwood Excelon KDC-X993

  • You'll need a degree in physics to set this thing up. Sounds great and looks great and is overall a good value, BUT what good is it if you can't program your settings. I'm going to have to try to contact Kenwood for help.

  • You can make this receiver do anything you want and then some. The controls can be a bit confusing, but are not as bad as some reviews say. Definitely one of the best receivers’ I have used and I would recommend it to everyone except for individuals that are susceptible to having seizures. If you turn on the setting to coordinate the color and blinking of the display with the beat of music it can almost make a ordinary person have a seizure, ha-ha. GREAT PRODUCT and WORTH THE MONEY!

  • I tell you what, the only thing this unit doesn't do it burn CDs. This is THE head unit to get if you aren't into the whole video set up in your ride. It has settings for everything. I got mine for about $200 at a local shop and it is hands down the best money I have EVER spent on a head unit. Sounds great, and it takes a beating too. My ride is a 4x4 blazer that is lifted, and bouncy as hell. This unit is holding up very well, been in my truck for about 1.5 years now. Buy it, you won't be dissapointed.
