Many new features over its predecessor the kdc-x592, including different lighting options, better eq control and crossover control.

I can't say enough about this H.U. It's got great looks, with all the bells & whistles that you'd want in a GOOD CD player. I replaced a Panasonic H.U. with this one and my music sounded better immediately. The controls are easy to get used to & they work basically like a IPOD. The sound setup is extremely nice, you can adjust the speaker position, crossover, & compensate for the delay of sound arrival right from the H.U. PLUS- the illumination is like free mood lighting... It'll be hard to find a better H.U. for $***... even my local audio store recommended this one & they normally try to rip me off.

you can not find a better cd player than this for 165. ya you got to play around with it but it will make what you got sound a lot better.

I love this Source Unit. I put it in my 99 deville and it is Awesome. The controls take a while to learn but the amount of audio control is worth it. Multi color options 4v output, Sweet EQ features. This deck is a steal!
