Unbelievable highs! I put these in my 00 Saleen convertible (frt) and a different set of Infinity reference components in the rear topping it off w/a JL Audio W3 sub, pushed by a JBL 680w amp. The deck is a Pioneer Premier DEH-P700BT. Awesome balance of mids and highs. (I would highly recommend a sub to completely balance out the lows. Theory was tested by driving car a week w/out a sub.)
For the price, this set of components can't be beat. I have these installed in a 2001 Monte Carlo with the tweeters top mounted just below ear level on the door. These speakers sound great powered off of my Kenwood deck, they highs are crystal clear, the mids are strong, but the lows are somewhat lacking. Can't wait to add a for channel amp to these speakers to get their full power. Highly recommended.
I haven't owned these speakers for long but they are amazing and add such a crisp clean sound to the car. The tweeters are a bit bright I would recommend running them at 0 or -3. Not a lot of bass response but they're 6.5's so I wasn't expecting a whole lot from them in that regard. This is my first component set from infinity and I am very impressed with the sound, for future vehicles I will stick with Infinty!
These component speakers sound great, even at high volume. SQ is great and tweeters are not harsh at all. Once you sound deaden your doors the bass comes alive. I wish the speaker wire was bigger, it's very thin and breaks very easy, also wish they had more rms watts. They stil sound great with 100 watts rms.
Very tight, crisp sounding speakers. Need to be crossed over relatively high....close to 100 hz to prevent woofer from bottoming out. Just use with a good subwoofer crossed at 90 to 100 hz and they sound great. Will play extremely loud due to high efficiency.
These are a great upgrade to an underpowered stock stereo which would be incredibly difficult to change out. Easily driven with great sound.
My first Infinity speakers and I love them, can't believe they sound this good when I've paid twice this before and heard less. I ran these off Alpine PDR-v75 hooked up to a Kenwood dnx691hd head unit.
