Well I have three of the vmax In An custom blow thro enclosure box sounds good I have an hiphonic Bruts 2000 wtt amp pushing them it's in an mbz cl 500 didn't want to go over board with it being so load that's why I went with the 10 they give off the best bass frequency to me I have an epic center man I take the speakersz to N whole different level with an touch or turn o an knobe cretin vegas are very good in handling the power the only thing that's wrong is the speakers can handle so much power really more the the 1000 wtts rms so now gotta up grade get an bigger more powerful amp to push them beyond the limit over all great buy great compAny good sub

First thing I would like to say is that Cerwin Vega is an old school brand that has been around for over 55 years making quality products. These V-Max subs are no exception to the quality of Cerwin Vega. However price wise, they will give you excellent low end bass, sound quality, durability and phenomuenal looks at half the cost of higher priced but not necessarily better subs. I have my 2 V-Max 102 subs in a custom made 1.25 cubic ft per woofer box tuned to 35hz and I get lows, clarity and loudness all in one package. Like other reviews said the low end bass (30-40hz) is the best in the business. The upper bass range 50-80hz is also top quality. Cerwin Vega these days doesn't have the fancy name as they used to however the quality of their products is the same. I owned Cerwin Vega in the late 80's and now and the quality is the same. I have owned other more popular sub brands and these V-Maxes with the space requirements, price and quality outperform the majority of them. I have owned these for about a year and I have no complaints. WHEN OR IF YOU BUY THESE SUBS YOU ARE GETTING A QUALITY SUBS WITH THE BEST LOW END BASS IN THE MARKET AT A GREAT PRICE. DON'T BE AFRAID TO BUY THEM BECAUSE IF YOU DO YOU WILL NEVER LOOK BACK.

I have a pair that start car alrms and shake the car to peices and all you need to know is that you see quality this sub will give acurate tight crisp bass but when dealling with rap music this sub will hit the lowest frequencies and sound great on those Long bass lines I't gives that great sound with country rap jazz rock and R&B when it's a Cerwin Vega! subwoofer you know u have a great product But this thing is Heavy as a bolder and Big as one with uncompramising bass

I had bought four of these and Man they can't be beat by any in the Power or price Range these I installed these in an S10 and the front and rear windsheild start flexing I set off alarms when in parking lots so I have to turn it down the rearview mirror shakes at 1 on the volume I've gotton out of tickets from cops being more curious of what brand I have than giving me a ticket I power them all with Crunch P 1500.1 at 1 ohm

I bought 2 of the these and put them in a ported box. I have a Alpine MRP 1000 RMS amp pushing these. All I can say is DAMN!! I had two twelves before and the old system doesent even compare. The sound quality of theses subs is amazing and it hits those lows extremely well with no distortion. You cant beat these subs for the value.
