THIS IS DA BEST AMP OUT THERE, NO JOKE. I HAVE THIS AMP HOOK TO 2 12" ALPINE TYPE R N IT SHATTERED MY BACK N SIDE WINDOWS LESS THAN 30 MIN. IMM STILL TRYING TOO FIND A WAY TO PREVENT MY WINDOWS GETTING SHATTERED BUT THIS IS WAY BETTER THAN JL AUDIO!!!
I have this beast hooked up tpo a 12 inch type x and its slams so hard. The bass is so clean and tight. Nice job Alpine
who says this amp isnt 1ohm stable i have 4 13.5 jl audio w3 and a kinetik 2400 with an mrp m-500 with 5 by 7 boston speakers on this monster and it outbeats almost any car in st. louis best amp i have ever owned
Its a good sounding amp, tends to get a pretty hot. Definately no way on gods green earth its breaking windows unless you physically threw it at one.
exellecent amp even for the price but c drop either is riding in a hoopedy or something similiar to break his glass i had 2 of these amps on 2 hcca 12's in a ford ranger extended cab. never blew glass i flexed it but i never blew it.
Amazing quality for affordable price... Will easily do rated power and a little more. Yeah breaking glass not likely but definately gonna produce a very tight, accurate, full range bass. Alpine's MRP series amplifiers are one the absolute best amps on the market for the price.
I Have six of these hooked up to 6 18 inch FI BTL's and it hit 166.8 in a grand cherokee boke my dash in half and blew the door off one day these amps are no joke.
Just broke in a new Kicker Solo X18 with this amp. It was my cousin's so I gave it back until I got my own. Now I have the Kicker ZX2500.1 on the X18 and I've gotta say I'm glad I payed the extra $250 for 500w jump on my Kicker amp. It sounds like I've got more like a 1500rms jump in output. Sorry Alpine, but my ZX has shown me why its said that you get what you pay for.
I got this amp on 2 12 cvx and my tahoe and it pound so hard and clean even I got it 1/2 way open.
Awesome you needa dif amp when.powering a dif sub like a kicker l7 12in 2ohm dvc it hits harder then useing same brand alpine hit a homerun wit this one 2000rms grrreat
well first off the amp was not big enough to run the 18 and if you want to pay a extra 250 bucks for a name be my guest big watts for cheap just don't happen you should know that if you know what you are doing would be better on the 15 or evean a pair of 12's do you know how much bass you have lost with the 18 and most likely crossover iisue then power check out your ranges see the loss and know to put it back in a 18 would just damage it
