These are GREAT speakers for the money!  I purchased them because of the Eclipse brand name, and being pretty inexpensive.  After install, I had them hooked up to a Sony head unit pushing 17w RMS, and they had great mids and highs, and enough bass to make the rearview mirror vibrate.  After hooking them up to an amp (50w x 2 RMS), they sounded incredible, and the bass was booooooming!!  Great Buy!!!
