im runnig 2 of these amps with 2 pionner premier 12s in an 01 blazer xtreme. i have not had it on a meter yeat but its pretty damn loud, the whole truck flex's. for the price you cant go wrong with this amp
Awesome!!! Great amp! I have it running 2 12" ADF-292s. I only have the amp up halfway and I think my car would fall apart if I turned it up all the way. The only thing I would recommend is that you get a cap as well, my headlights dim when the bass hits hard.
All I can say is WOW!!! I purchased this amplifier for christmas and have it connected to two Alpine type R 12's in a 3cu ft box tuned at 36hz. The raw power makes the subs literally shake my chest til' I turn it down! The price is AMAZING compared to what they give you. If you have the cash and know what you're doing.. get this amp it is beyond worth it. Free shipping came with it and I received it within 7 business days from getting off the phone with them. A month and ten heart attacks later and it's running strong! You can't be disappointed!
I purchased this amp with the very ambitious idea of trying to power a JL 10W7 with something in the $150-$200 price range. Although this was a massive gamble, I decided to look into this amp based on previous reviews that I had read and some good word of mouth with the Hifonics name - a brand that I had admittedly never come across in person. So with cautious optimism, I held my breath and purchased this amp, fully aware of where my expectations need be. This amp is a true wolf in sheep's clothing. This thing pushes my 10W7 so hard, clear and accurately that it almost seems at times they were meant to go together. I've owned the JL 500/1 before (previously pushing 2 10W3V2s - a setup that I begrudingly had to sell years ago) and the Hifonics 1500D/10W7 combo is noticeably better than the previously mentioned setup - both in SQ and SPL. This amp is rated at 500W @ 4ohms, and 1000W @ 2ohms. However, rest assured that the amp runs perfectly at 3ohms, the output being around 700-750 watts. If you're on the fence about this amp, let this review be the tipping point. There's a saying in life that's proven itself time and time again: if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. This amp is one of those rare exceptions. You will not be disappointed.
This amp has great bang for the bucks....solid investment. Only cilpped out me once...then again it was after about 5 hrs of heavy banging. Two things..first iam a little older so i dont wanna be heard 5 blocks away anymore (but i do want folks to know i do have something nice in the trunk...lol)...second i didn't hook iit up to get the full power like i should have....UNDER 2 BILLS ITS A STEAL!!!!
Oh yea. So I had two off brand 800 watt amps, each hooked up to a pair of 12s. Bought one of the hilfonic amps hooked it up to my kickers comps at 2 ohms. Holy shit, I thought I Was hittin before with four twelves in my integra but now my bass boost knob is turned down( unless I really want people to hear me) jus so I don't fuck my ears up too early. Can't wait to get another one of these for my x then really be beatin my car apart, once I have the other amp ima sell my twelves and upgrade to the kicker l7 12s... Need some trunk space lol. Overall good buy for under two Hundo. Looks great with my blue light scheme too
Bought this amp to replace two Soundstorm EV2000.2's, and the difference was night and day. I went from not telling anyone I had a system to now they know what's poppin! I'm running two American Bass XD1244's to it at a 1ohm load and I havent clipped or blown a fuse. No overheating, no isuues at all unless you count the tylenol I had to take for my sore jaw. This grin is starting to get painful. Oh and at 48 years old I dont need to be heard from blocks away but I do have to have throbbin big beats!
Love the product. Easy to install and really clean looking. Love the glow of the blue. Gives great power to my 12" sub. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Hifonics consistently puts out a top quality product at an extremely wallet friendly price. This is no exception. I bought to power 2 dual 4ohm 12 kicker l7's at 1 ohm stable and I have to dial it down. One thing about hifonics is that they under estaminet their products output. You'll get more out of them then they say so be carefull of that. All and all great product, if your contemplating it, don't. Just buy it you'll be impressed.
I absolutely love this amp, it did everything I wanted it to and more.
