These are a solid speaker for the money.  I upgraded my factory speakers front and back in by 98 f150.  They are a clear improvement over stock, but do lack the bass at this point.  I am running them off an alpine head unit pushing 18 watts rms.  I am looking into which amp to buy for them.  I want to add a sub to get a more complete sound. I am not trying to rattle my doors off.  I would buy these again.  If I were you, plan on pushing these with an amp for them to totally impress.

Oh my goodness...this are awesome! I just finished putting them in today and they make such a difference. Most people say that these don't pack enough bass, but its pretty cool how much it pounds in the mid-bass level. I plan on getting an amp for them as well, I heard that makes it even better. Really good buy.
