For the price you cant beat this unit. I've been impressed with pioneer since my last 3 head units. My wife has a alpine that is comparible in price with one head unit and the pioneer has better features. This head unit is nice. Its exactly what I was looking for.Something nice and fairly inexpensive, gets the job done whether watching movies on it, ipod, to the other features. I chose this because i didn't want to get a real expensive head unit and it get stolen and not afford to replace it.This has exceeded my expectations except for one thing. Overall its great for long trips, my kids have a flip down in the back and my wife can watch something else. Or they can watch the same thing. I'd buy again

Great Item bestbuy installed the navigation system. Please make sure you check the internet for the navagation system. I ordered the navigation system from on line and saved over 200.00. I payed 279.00 for the navagtion system on line and got it installed for 46.00. A local car stereo priced the same system to purchse and install for over 550.00.

Eric. I dont know what kind of vehicle you have but most newer models the wiring harness alone is a $100. Then add the dash kit and maybe even a antenna adapter id say the best buy install was fairly reasonable. Just thought id let u know. Good luck with your new purchase!!

This is my prelim review as I got the stereo installed Friday, but so far am absolutely loving it. Sure between the radio (thank you onlinecarstereo.com - amazing price and speedy delivery) and installation (Best Buy $157 - ouch), I've spent almost $500 to play the 31 songs from my Ipod which the HU does great. The benefit of this stereo is some very nice features that according to spec sheets I didn't even know it had. 1) Center sound stage - amazing. 99% of the time I am in the car alone, so being able to put the sound to the best for my driving position is priceless. Previously I would have to mess with the balance and fader and still the sound was "muffled". Never again. Love this feature. 2) iTunes tagging and RDS. Every spec sheet I read said this unit did not have RDS (sound/artist info) and that your needed to have the HD radio module in order for iTunes tagging. Not true. These features came with the unit out of the box. Way cool. I may just get more than 31 songs on my Ipod afterall. 3) The unit is really easy to operate although I will see, at least at 1st you will need to reference the owner's manual/operating guide. But seriously even me within an hour had key functions down cold. If there is one thing that I do so far find a little annoying (and maybe I just need to find out how to do this either from the manual or tech support) is the fact that with my ipod in, the song name, artist, album info doesn't appear to scroll. So i listen to a lot of HipHop where it seems no artist can sing a song alone, so most of the time I see "Akon - feat. Lu" or the like.
