I spend many days reviewing and purchased this unit after owning Alpine units. My most recent was the cda-9815 which i did not want to let go. I wanted a unit that would control/charge my ipod touch gen2, perform and look good. It is running 2 amps, mids/tweets and a 10" sub in my 1993 MR2 turbo. I am really impressed and very happy with the kdc-x994. It is very easy to use, i recommend it.
Went from stock CD changer in 06 sierra to this deck with Bose system and 2 alpine 12" subs. Sound quality is ridiculous and the blue tooth works great. Good deck for good price.
