this amp is awesome for the price, it really cant be beat. I did my research and correct me if i am wrong, i have two cerwin vega strokers the 154 dual 4 ohm subs. they peak at 4000 watts and rms at 2000 watts, all together 4000 watts rms. so i this amp is peaking at 5500 at one ohm and is about 3900 watts rms at 1 ohm. pretty close match up here. this amp has burned out 4 times already, now it would be one thing if it had fuses on the side, make it an easy fix but no it doesnt. i have sent it back to boss audio 3 times now and i give up on it, and the kicker is i down graded to just one stoker and it still burned up. P.O.S. so yes wonderful price, s***** product.
Well, my opinion, I love this amp, I upgraded to this one after I bought a boss 2000watt amp that i actually blew and wasnt to happy when that happened, and its due to not having a fan-coolimg system. Im an electronic technician and I am in the process of fixing that issue so that I can get rid of the thing. But this amp... its definitely the greatest of all the amps that I own, im very happy with this and it actually has a fan-cooling system like every amplifier from 1000 watts and up should have, or like every amplifier should have, I love the sound and the sharp and low bass respons it supplies my upgraded two 12" 1200 watt Infinitys from two 10" 1100 watt Infinitys, 10"s sound like 12"s and the 12"s sound like 15"s! Live it all!
