Product Reviews For Massive Audio NX2

  • I just got this amp in today. This is, without a doubt, the clearest amp I've ever heard. Turn the gain to 60-65%, to keep the distortion out, 100%. And, even with the gain at that level, it puts out some real power. Now... If you are used to sloppy amps, then it might not be 'loud' to you. But, don't confuse 'distortion' with 'power'. This will give your high quality mids and highs the power that they want and need to reach their potential. I'm not familiar with anything else from MASSIVE AUDIO, but I'm certainly going with them the next time I want anything. And, I'm comparing this to other top-dollar product lines, too. Fosgate, Digital JL, Alpine, Polk, anything....this is clearer than anything I've ever heard....period. It does get warm, apparently. But, what else would you expect from a real amp? Little note: If you don't know what you're doing when it comes to installation, then don't do a sorry job, and then blame the amp. There's nothing wrong with this amp. No noise...AT ALL. So... If you don't know what you're doing, let someone else put in this fine piece of equipment. Oh, and... It's quite small. But, don't forget to give it room to breath. It gets warm, no doubt. ttyl
