Buy this sub! I've been installing systems in vehicles for 20 years and this is by far and away the best sounding subwoofer I have ever shoved in a box at this price range. In fact, it outperforms most subs twice its price! In fact, Morel pulled a hat-trick... It's extremely musical, very efficient and it works in small enclosures (I put it in a 1 cube prefab and the low bass extension is phenominal!). I've never thought of Morel as a go-to company for subwoofers, but that's about to change. Thank you Morel for making bass this affordable this amazing.
Running two of these in a custom enclosure. Sound quality is amazing! Work great in the small box. Paired with all morel mids and highs the system sounds outstanding for the price. SQ all around awesome
1st of all these need a small enclosure I think this sub is supposed to use a .81 CuFt box and i have a 1.1 Cu Ft it was disappointing immediately BUT I gave it two days of hard play to start to break in. Then every time I listened to it ... it sounded deeper and deeper and smoother I NEVER expected this boy to get so low and so smooth I am only pushing 200 watts through it but I have a Soundstream REF 2.640 I will hook up to it after a little more break in ... This sub makes my Polk Audio components sound better... If you can take time to break this sub in.... YOU will be rewarded with the smoothest deepest and very powerful sounds... Make sure you have the rest of your system up to snuff as It will play off of those .. The sub BY ITSELF doesn't sound tight even though its super low ... the rest of my system makes the sub sound tight... THE ONLY thing I can say is wow this sub is bad AZZZZ.
