IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM THE RISK MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

For your protection, we sometimes need to verify information retained by the bank that issued your credit card. Validating this information could delay your order up to 2 business days. If you are shipping to an alternate address, please call your credit card company and request to include your preferred shipping address in their file as part of the verified addresses for your card. After you provide us with the telephone for your credit card company, one of our Customer Care Representatives will then verify the shipping address with the credit card company. This can help expedite the verification process on your order. This extra step is also to protect our customers from online fraud. In addition, we cannot accept credit card payments issued by foreign banks. Listed below are other options for us to fulfill orders with alternate shipping address:

  • 1. Email a photo of your ID along with any Utility bill indicating customer name and shipping address;
  • 2. Cancel the order and replace it using Paypal as mode of payment indicating the alternate address. There is no verification needed.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS
To cancel your order, please call our customer service department at 310-526-8635 during business hours; Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 4:00pm PST. If the order has been processed we will not be able to cancel the order. Please refer to the Return Policy.

We will NOT cancel orders via email requests.

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS

Special order items usually take from 10 to 30 business days to ship from Online Car Stereo warehouse.

SHIPPING OF ORDERS

The majority of our listed products are in-stock and ready to ship. In fact, over 90% of all orders are shipped the SAME DAY the order was placed when it is available in the warehouse. A few of our listed items are special order or built-to order such as subwoofer enclosures that require additional processing and shipping time. Please take note that orders are not processed during the weekend or federal Holidays. Note: Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.

Generally, you will have the option of upgrading your shipping method for faster delivery. If you choose to upgrade your shipping method, your order must be received and clear credit authorization by 12:00 p.m. PST or your order may not be processed until the following business day (Monday to Friday).

Please be informed that we ship and pay for your packages as you requested but we do not guarantee the delivery dates. All paid expedited shipping services are NON-REFUNDABLE regardless of delivery dates.

SHIPPING OTHER THAN THE BILLING ADDRESS

There is no problem shipping to a different address other than the billing; however this will delay processing time due to verification procedure. This extra processing time is to protect our customers from online fraud. Please check the Payment & Cancellation Policy section for details.

PACKAGE INTERCEPT

UPS packages that have left the warehouse can be rerouted ONLY to a UPS HUB for pickup with a valid ID. The customer needs to pay a $25 intercept fee before rerouting is initiated.

SHIPPING POLICY DISCLAIMER:

Online Car Stereo immediately sends out your order tracking number once your order is processed. It is recommended that you monitor and check your email to check the status of your package at UPS, USPS or Fedex. Once you know the delivery date of your package, it is best to anticipate its arrival to avoid mail theft. If you will not be home to receive the package/s we recommend for you to have someone receive it for you; or request Online Car Stereo to process the package to be held at a UPS or USPS hub station for pick-up (Fees apply).

Missing a Package or Never Received Your Order?

If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you cannot find it, please do the following within 36 hours of expected, stated delivery:

  • Verify the shipping address on the order is where you have been looking for the package.
  • Look for a notice of attempted delivery.
  • Look around the delivery location for your package.
  • See if someone else such as a neighbor or co-worker has accepted the delivery.
  • Some packages travel through multiple carriers; check your mailbox or wherever else you receive mail or packages

We always strive for customer satisfaction when you buy from Online Car Stereo. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return and request for refund for items that are COMPLETE, BRAND NEW AND UNOPENED within 60 days. Subject to inspection and exclusions apply.

How to Make a Return:
1. Contact us.
To start a return, call 310-526-8635 and speak with our helpful and friendly Customer Service Representatives to initiate the process. Our CSR will provide you with your return authorization. You can also email us at [email protected] for any questions.

2. Package returned items carefully and securely.
Returned items should be brand new and in the original packaging, complete with all the original accessories and manuals. Online Car Stereo double-boxes most of the products to protect the products during shipping. Please use the original outer box and include your Order Number name inside the package.
3. Attach the shipping label.
You have (2) two options:
  • a. Ship the package thru your preferred shipping company.
  • b. Avail of our discounted USPS or UPS Rates. This cost will be deducted from your refund or store credit request, whichever applies.

If you opted for option “b”, you will receive a UPS or USPS return shipping label along thru email. Remove or mark out the original labels, then securely tape the new return shipping label to the package.

4. Drop the package to the nearest UPS or the US Postal Office.
Take it to any official UPS / Fedex drop-off site or your nearest US Postal Office depending on which return label you received. To search for drop-off locations nearest you:

Please allow 24 to 72 hours, after order has been checked in and inspected for the issuance of refunds and returned merchandise are inspected by our technicians.

Please take note of the following Important Return Details:
Refund or exchange

Brand new, unopened, complete in original packaging, factory sealed will qualify for a full refund without restocking fee minus shipping charges.

Brand new, opened box, not installed, not used, opened original packaging, will be subject to a minimum of a 10% restocking fee plus shipping charges.

Used, installed products will be subject to restocking fee depending on the condition, plus shipping charges will be deducted.

Shipping costs.
Original Free and OCS Return shipping costs are deducted from your refund; or charged along with the re-shipping fee for exchanges or warranty claims.
Freight shipping:

Items like subwoofer boxes; large subwoofers may require special freight shipping, and cost more to return. An Online Car Stereo representative will be able to help you in determining the exact shipping cost of freight items when setting up the return. This is also applicable to orders coming from Hawaii.

*We do not accept any return requests for Rims and Tires (please check fitment before purchasing), JL Stealthboxes, other customized products, fulfilled financed orders (Acima and Progressive) and opened / used / installed merchandise.

DOA (Dead on Arrival)

We highly recommend you test the products before you install to ensure that items are in perfect working order. If you find that the item is defective, please immediately call our Customer Service Hotline at 310-526-8635 to request for an RMA. We will send you instructions on how to ship the item back to us. DOA returns are subject for inspection and only eligible for replacement. If the item is found to be not defective, it will be shipped back to you (fees apply).

International shipping:
Online Car Stereo does not provide return shipping for international orders. The customer is responsible for any international shipping charges or duties.
Brand New Condition.
Online Car Stereo may refuse a customer return or charge a restocking fee when the returned item is not in BRAND NEW CONDITION.

Conditions that will lead to refused returns or a restocking fee will be charged include:

  • When the returned item has a different serial number than what Online Car Stereo originally shipped (box and actual unit).
  • When there are missing parts or the original packaging has been damaged or tampered with.
  • When there is damage due to the original packaging and actual unit as a result of improper packaging for return shipment. (i.e., no over box, taped the manufacturer box, etc.)
  • When there is damage from drops, spilled liquid, mishandling or not properly installed.
  • When the product has been installed or has attempted to be installed and was removed from the original packaging.

All products sold at Online Car Stereo are covered with a (1) one year warranty starting from the date of purchase. If your item stopped working, below are the steps to file a warranty claim.

How to file a Warranty Claim for replacement:

ALL warranty claims are only eligible for replacement of the original item and subject for inspection. If there is no damage / defect on the item, it will be shipped back to the customer (fees apply). If the item is already sold out, not available or discontinued, a store credit will be issued less the return fees associated. Please also note that whatever you ship back to us are the only ones being replaced (i.e., box, cables, screws etc.).

Returned items should be brand new and in the original packaging, complete with all the original accessories and manuals (NO EXCEPTIONS). Online Car Stereo overboxes most of the products to protect the products during shipping. Please use the original over-box and the manufacturer’s packaging to return your item.

4. Attach the Return Shipping label.

You will receive a UPS,USPS or FEDEX Authorized Return Service shipping label along with a return authorization number. Remove or mark out the original labels, then securely tape the new Return shipping label to the package.

5. Drop the package to the nearest UPS, Fedex or the US Postal Office.
