This amp is true to its word. It can handle 1 ohm stable. I have this baby pushin' 2 06' L7 12s at 750 watts x 2 at 1 Ohm and damn does this baby rock. I used to have 2 audiobahn 12s and the volume was at 43. this is at 15!
This is by far the best amplifier that I have bought. I bought this amp retail ($599.99) at Audio Designs, before I knew about Online Car Stereo. I am in the process of buying another DPX11500 from this site. It runs 1500 rms at 1&2 ohm operations and 800 rms and 4 ohm operation. I am currently using an Alpine Type X on it and it is freaking loud. I'm buying a second one and going to hook up another type x on the second one. Great Product and a great price.
great amp i have it powering 2 fosgate p3's there over powered a lil but they pound only con is that there are major turn on thumps and when i switch songs it does it real bad and it heats up a lil bit after a while of playing hard thats my only negative feedback other than that its a great amp
This is the best amp for powring anything and trust me paying $300 on onlinecarstero is is well worth considering i paid over$799.99 in retail. Its perfect all way around,I was having a bit of problems with the cooling fan but Clarion took it back and fixed the problem at no cost to me,its 100% reliable and I'll never go for any other amp,It doesnt matter if your a beginner or a pro this amp is far better than the $1000 dollar amps pushing the same power,I hihgly recommed getting it from this site.
i have this monster hooked up to 2 12" pionner premier 3000 watt subs at one ohm stable. i have never heard anything louder. it is fed by 0 guage wiring kit 2 Two farad caps and optima batteries. and it thumps
This amp has ups and downs. The amp is good for the price. It puts out 1500 true rms. It doesn't shut off or get too hot while operating. This amp does fine on spl but the sq is bad. Has a bad rythm of bass plus doesn't give deep bass. It can't hit all the different bass tones and can't hit lows lows fo s***. The other comments on here we're probally from poeple who havn't heard other brands. Listen to me on this true advise. For those who just want loud bass for good price, this is it. For those who want clean deep low bass, this amp is garbage. I'm sure the newer generation amps are the same.
