Product Reviews For Pioneer DEHP77DHR

  • as far as gm size, its the best. when i bought it 2 years ago, it had the best features for even the regular size models. it still out performs any standard cd player. no tape and no mp3. just good ol fashion cd's, but thats all i have, so it's good. pioneer lets you add what ever you want to it. ive got rca plugs as the aux, so i plug in my laptop and listen to dvd's through the stereo as i watch.(not while im driving) although the 97 chevy blazer has a larger opening then alllll the rest of gm's it fits. looks natural too. plus who wants to steal such a big radio?

  • This thing fit perfectly into the radio bay of my '91 Caprice Classic, and even with just the stock speakers (My car had the Bose Stereo package) all of the CDs in my library sound fantastic. All that I have to do now is get some subs...

  • I got this cd player for my truck that came with only a factory radio and tape player. It fit my truck perfectly (chevy blazer) and it has very good quality, I would suggest to buy this instead of a disk changer!!!!!!!!!

  • I've had this head unit in my '97 Dodge Ram pickup for 3 years now and it's still going strong.true it's not the newest thing out there but it takes care of my need vary wellplays CD,CD-R and most CD-RW disk and has rear RCA inputs so you can hook up anything you want(just use a patch cable and run it where you want it)and it has 3 sets of RCA outputs(with H/L filters) so you can ether use it's own power or muti amps to power your speakers. All and all it's a good mid-level unit that can take care of most people's needs.

  • I installed this unit in my Saturn without any help and it has made a HUGE improvement with sound quality. I took a long trip to Florida and it never once let me down. For the price, this unit rocks!

  • 7 years going strong.... I haven't cleaned my unit yet, but am going to do so since I'm swapping it in my third vehicle. Decent acoustics, tons of features, and most importantly durable. This is a long running Pioneer Head Unit because of its versatility and service dependability. IF your looking for a no nonsense reciever with user friendly controls, this is the H.U. for you!
