Great sound and features. The only problem is that the display is VERY dim, almost to the point of not being usable in the daytime. Other than that, its a nice sounding unit. Paid $350 at Ultimate Electronics.
Great Sound Quality even with my stock speakers
I love this head unit. Just plug in you XM antenna and get your XM subscription and that's all you need to get great XM programming.
Just installed this into a 2005 Royal Star Tour Deluxe with a radio fairing , hooked it into 2-4" infinity speakers and the sound is great. The ease of the install was great , plugged in the XM anettna (stuck it inside the install area on top of the radio in the fairing)and was able to make 1 call. Was up and running to the XM Radio in ten Min. Perfect setup for a motorcycle because of the all-in-one feature of the XM Radio and no other parts..
I had this unit installed in my 18 wheeler with 4-5.25 2-6.5 two 10" subwoofers R series and 2-mrv amps...alpine has the best sound I ever heard. also xm in 10 minutes. awesome unit I would recommend this to anyone!
I bought this unit a few months ago and, i must say the overall sound quality is nice. It tends to be a little high on the treble though have to keep it set on negative one. I have it in my 85 f-150 and it really thumps my jl audio 12 inch. Right now i have it run to an 800 watt kenwood amp and have the bass boost almost all the way up. for the price it's pretty nice but would suggest getting a really good amp to go with it.
