i would recommend these subs to anyone that like alot of base they hit hard on lows but are bad for high
this thing hits all the lows, crisp and clear. and just for those who dont know subs are not supposed to hit frequencies above 50 Hz if you have a good system
These subs are the loudest I have ever had. I hit 149.6 in a vented box with a memphis 1000d. Had two JL15w3's not near as loud but hit better all around. For spl this is a great sub for your money.
Love these speakers. Loud, hits clear, hits the lows great. These speakers are well worth my money. Loudest around my where I live.
I have 4 of these in a blazer running off 2 kicker 1500amps the best subs for the money they need alot of power but worth it!!
I Have 2 Running On A Memphis M-Class MCD1500 "1500 RMS" And Built The Biggest Possible Slot Ported Box That Would Fit In My ExtCab Sierra "Removed Seat" And They BLEW Me Away, They Hit So HARD and Low That I Had To Roll The Windows Down To Breathe...AWESOME SUBS!
I dont have the new model of this subwoofer. i have the orignal silver/blue, but not much has changed. I have 2 of these running off a 3000w monoblock. i also have a memphis 15 running off a audiobahn 600w amp, and i can completey turn off the 15 and not tell much of a difference, except for of course the solobaric will not play at certain VERYYYY low frequencys, If you are debating purchasing this product, I would say BUY IT!!! I am definately the loudedst truck in my town. oh did i mention this was in the back of a 99 z71? yea. NO REGRETS-RAISIN HELL! aint nothin like that baric!!!

I just hooked two of these up to the Kicker 06ZX1500.1 amp. I've had them for about 2 weeks now and they are beating down the block. I had to put some extreme dynamat in my roof because it was rattling so bad. I was setting off alarms with the gain and bass boost turned only half way up. Very good deal for the money and overall a great sub.
I think its safe to say i got king kong in tha trunk :). I got 1 S12L7-2 in a 3.2 cubic foot ported box hooked to a PPI 1200.4. After the 2 week break in period i only turned the gain to 1/2 and the bass on +3.....RIDICULOUS bass and accuracy. My favorite sub. I've had 4 15W0's, 2 12W3's, my dad has an Alpine Type, and my boy has a 13W7. It blows them away in SPL and SQL(compared wit Blueberry Yum Yum). Nice job Stillwater designs.
I have two of these in the back of a mercury mountaineer powered by a 1000w MA audio mono block in a vented box and it is one of the best sounding SUVs in town. I had to go through 5 different systems, but now I am finally happy. Its the best for your money. They are the 2004 model.
This is the second sub I've had in my '96 Olds Bravada (Blazer platform). The first one was an older 4 Ohm '04 model on 900w RMS. I did 145.3 db with that one in a prefabricated enclosure. Bought this one, as a 2 Ohm, and brought my amp down to 1 Ohm with about 1330w RMS. That is almost double the power to the 750w RMS sub. I hit 146.9 db at an SPL contest, and this is with only ONE 12. Not bad if you ask me, prefab box and all. The box is tuned to about 57hz. For anyone that wants to potentially compete, this is a GREAT sub for the money. Pick it up, and you decide.
WOW! hooked up 2 of these in my 07 Yukon Xl and man they can hit! i have a DNX7100 Headunit, and a Hifonics 1606D Mono amp pushing the two subs at 1-ohm and MAN!!! they sound and kick HARD! Cant go wrong with these. I wonder what the Solo X S12X4 sound like?
I got 2 of these in my 06 H3 and they hit real hard. I got em powered with a 1600 watt power acoustic gothic series amp. Before these I had 2 audiobahn 15's with 2 1200 watt sony xplod amps, and the kickers destroy the audiobahns hands down.
i have 2 of these L7s in the kicker box it come with at the moment,,and running each off a kicker zx750.1 mono class d amp and i have never heard a sub with clear punchy bass ..these realy rock..
I got one 15 in a ported box.Kenwood 2000 watt amp-1000 rmsi got the new pioneer deh-p700bt. This speaker kills. I was impresses because its clearity is amazing for a 15. I had my bassboost a quater of the way up and my rearview mirror fell of my front windshield.Song- YOung Jeezy - Hypnotize!!!
i have 2 of these in my 08 ext chevy colorado with a zx1000.1 mono amp and i'm still doing the grace period and they pound so hard, i had 4 ohm L5s and the bass is deeper and clearer, should of went with these in the first place, great subs and great price.
