This is an excellent sub. Probably the best 10 inch subwoofer for the money. I have it running of of a MTX 3401 amp rated at 491 watts @ 2ohms; it's a great combo. I listen to mostly hard rock and heavy metal, but occasionally so r&b and rap. The RFW 10 is nice and punchy on rock and metal, but can also hit the low notes in r&b and rap. This is in my 2005 F150 extended cab and fills the truck with bass that I can really feel. If you are lucky enough to get one shipped to you, you will definately love it. Be sure and call to see if they are in stock or have a shipping date for them. I would most definately buy these again if I needed a sub for a small space. Excellent subwoofer!
i have 2 o f these runnin off a soundstream 960.4 amp in my 96 chevy silveradoand i have to say i am pleased on how well these perform to all the musin i listen too
I have these subs in .8cu. ft. enclosures powered by a bridged channel of an MTX thunder 3400 about 150 watts. they took about 3 hours to break in, but since then the sound tight, and the soak up all the power i can provide they can take a Lot. very high quality construction. robust. I paid 100$ for 2 so GReat value. trust for the$ cant go wrong.
