Product Reviews For Blaupunkt San Diego MP27

  • Beautiful industrial design ... world renowned brand ... half-assed installation instructions ... 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Judging from the size of the attached manual, I assumed comprehensive instructions would expedite my installation however, when the preamble states and I quote: "... you may only install the device yourself if you are experienced in installing car sound systems ..." apparently, Blaupunkt doesn't give the average person enough credit. 95% of the manual is devoted to playing with your new toy in every language except Arabic with 5% dedicated to set-up. Grey striped wire connects to grey striped wire, that much is obvious but, if you provide an orange 'illumination' wire without an already installed counterpart, the head scratching begins. If the technical writers at the 'blue dot' explored specialized avenues over meandering through rustic roads devoted to setting your favourite radio stations, perhaps this would be the ideal product; providing disclaimers towards your target audience is misstep number one ... everything else is gravy.
