Product Reviews For SoundStorm LS46

  • I can only attest to these unpowered, and as a fact replacement, I put these in an 04 silverado king cab, in the rear doors, on a factory deck, w/ low profile audiobahn (2)10's under the rear seat, on about 300 watts of a 1000 watt sony amp, and mtx 6 3/4" front door speakers also unpowered, and they are loud and (crystal) clear enough to keep up with the highs and mids not to get drowned out by the powered subs! They also will rattle the rear doors (no sound mat yet, of course) if to much bass is set, I turn it down to a quarter on the bass and use the amp gain and bass boost on the amp. I was going to amp them wich Im sure a good 50 watts would do them justice, but as good as they are with a few watts im sure just changing to the hi-power dbl din pioneer deck im looking at will be more than enough for the average person, as I myself listen to a lot of computer bass, and the crazy highs and mids in skrillex, and they hold their own, they have been installed since 7/13, and if the truck rolls they rock!, and as for the low cost from online car stereo I was very surprised how well they work!!. Thanks for read'n, enjoy Rock'n!!
