I am really enjoying these speakers in my 04 Explorer. I have a Soundstream P1.1000D amp powering the box, but I feel its a bit too powerful for these speakers. I have the remote volume control for this amp turned just about down to nothing and I can still practically blow these speakers. I bought these as an entry into my system and they are just that. I would recommend a maximum of 500 watts pushing them or else they will blow. That being said, you really cant beat this bang for the buck setup. The box is extremely durable, weighing in at nearly 70 lbs and the speakers are great for an entry level system. Don't get me wrong, it can still flex body panels while sounding very clean, but don't expect to win spl contests either!
Great subs for the money good bass and signal had my honda dyno matted cabin and truck made a huge difference in bass also reduced rattle
