|I needed a new unit to replace the factory original in my 1989 Jeep Comanche. After searching several sites and reviewing many units, this was my choice.
Being old enough to still have them, I wanted a unit that would play cassette tapes and cd's on my daily commutes to work.
This unit installed perfectly, fits nicely in the dash and does everything I could ask of it.|

|I just replaced my 1992 Honda original equipment Manufactured (OEM) cassette car stereo and speakers. I replaced them with the Sanyo FXCD 1350 and Kenwood speakers. They're a nice improvement in sound quality and the CD player is a tremendous upgrade in performance for me. I paid quite a bit more that the advertised price here so my money value rating suffers accordingly. The features it offers are hard to beat as finding combination CD & cassette units is not an easy task. My wife enjoys playing books on tape when traveling and the public library's selection is largely available in cassette format. So we're both happy with the choice. The radio reception, both AM and FM is also very good. I had trouble getting AM reception in Williamsburg before, so this was important to me. My only complaint is I don't like the brite silver finish against my black dash and the color display panel is a little on the tacky side. While some probably like the look, I prefer subdued over flashy in my car as I like to keep things in near original condition.|
