did a lot of research into this unit vs the avic-d3. went and tried the avic out; did not really like the setup and options. went with dnx7100 blindly. very pleased with the unit. the install was much easier than i thought. being the unit has lots of options/add-ons, there are lots of wires. great screen. difficult user interface, but once you get used to it, no sweat. love the multitasking it does, can run several functions at the same time, ie ipod/dvd/nav, only needing to switch sources. truly no complaints. a plus, great ease in ordering and quick delivery. thanks and regards.

Just hooked this unit up in my 07 Yukon Xl with a Hifonics 1606D pushing 2-12 L7's and a PDX 4.150 pushing 2 sets of Alpine components. and man its the sweetest sound ever! I also connected the Back up Cam, Yellow top battery, and an extra TV and the DVD quality is AWESOME! The built in Navi is KEY! Also connected the GM On-Star module and the module for the steering wheel controls and everything is just SWEET!! Just cant figure out how to put my own backgrounds?? anyone?

Amazing unit. Amazing how diverse the system is and really isn't as difficult to use as some say, just takes 30 min of fidgeting around with it. After hooking up reverse camera, blue tooth, and video Ipod I could not ask for more. Navi is great, just cant figure out how to get the XM to work
