  • Great speaker for the price. Make sure it get's enough juice though.

  • I just bought two of these. They're in two separate sealed enclosures in my truck. I'm pushing 150 watts to each one. They sound great at low volumes, but horrible at high volumes. Don't know if I'm not sending enough juice to them or if it's just cone noise that I'm not used to. They have potential; I just won't know if they can sound better until I get more power to them.

  • I have three of these hooked to a Kenwood x811d and they sound amazing. Excellent quality, very responsive, and thumps through the notes with great accuracy. Can even slam pretty good at loud volumes keeping its quality sound. Probably one of the best sounding subs I have ever heard quality wise.

  • I have had a pair of these, running 300w/rms each, for about 8 months. They can take every little bit my mtx thunder 6500d can give, 'till the amp shuts down.Takes about 2hrs. At full volume. These subs don't even sweat it. They just beg for more power.

  • Just hooked up more power to these speakers. Still not getting the deep bass response from them that I'm after. If you're a basshead and want some low notes played loud, this is not the speaker for you; unless it's in a huge ported box. I have two in separate sealed enclosures and they only pick up the higher bass notes. I may try to go with just one twelve.

  • Sounds great. I run mine in a small ported box tuned to about 31hz. Most people who hear it when I'm playing "ghetto" bass think its a 15" in a big ported box, but I'll put in some quick hitting techno afterwards and then they can swear I switched to 2 10s in a small sealed box. Also, to JJ from ATL - Try giving each of them more power and I promise you better results. Also, if you're running a cheap quality amp, it may say 150 watts but in reality its not even close to that. Case and point my 250 watt Xtant amp scored a higher db with this sub on a certified pressure meter than a cheap pyramid amp a buddy had that we hooked up to the sub. and it supposedly had 1000 watts. There is something to be said about "Clean" non-distorted power. Anyway, more power and you'll be good to go JJ.

  • Theres something about infinity but the quality is just amazing in everything they put together. Im runnin two of these at about 300W a piece with an audiobahn 2300HCT amp in two seperate sealed enclosures and they sound incredible. If your looking for real clean loud bass than I highly recommend these subs.

  • good sub, great sound quality but very power hungry, i've found them to work great in my 1.00cu ported box tuned @38hz with about 500 watts a piece. i'm running two of these and WOW

  • this sub sounds as good as it looks. I have the alpine m1001 amp on two of these and they sound great. took about 2 months to break in but after the two months they could take about 450 watts a piece and they started to get louder. i would compare to the alpine type r 10. perfects are a little cleaner but not as loud. Very satisfied

  • I've got one of these in my eclipse running on a hifonics amp. It sounds great, crisp and powerful. I listen to Rap, Rock, and Techno, and this sub fills all my needs.

  • Picked up 2 of these back in Feb 07 and paired them with a Kicker 750.1 in a sealed enclosure. Loud and very deep for a 10. My enclosure is 1.25 cf per sup which makes the subs more boomy. It does take a while to break them in but afterwards; damn, the roof of my Silverado seems to thump with the bass.

    Too Old for 700 Watts!!!

  • i have 4 of these in my 99 tahoe and i have them hooked up to two rockford fosgate bd1000 amplifiers. with this arrangement each sub gets a full 1000 watts. put inside an air tight sealed enclosure with .85 cubic foot per woofer, these subs really produce clear sound. however, my one complaint about these subs is that they say 1400 watts rms and they tend to clip at 1100. overall though these subs offer great sound quality at an affordable price.

  • Incredible subwoofer. With tons of linear excursion capabilities and a super-low distortion design, it has no problem delineating even the most subtle of bass lines in any genre of music. This subwoofer is almost perfectly designed for in-car use, in a "maximally flat" sealed alignment (0.7 'Q') it starts rolling off around 50 Hz. Cabin gain kicks in around there in most vehicles, ensuring truly flat response to well below 20 Hz. Given it's ability to produce flat, distortion free bass it will take some getting used to, especially if you are used to super high "Q" designs using cheaper drivers. These designs generally have a huge (like 3-6 db) hump centered around 40-60 Hz which gives the impression of amazing bass, but after careful listening, especially on a genuinely good subwoofer such as the Perfect, most people realize most systems just make noise. These make music. Cons... These take power. Lots of power. Give them at least 250 Watts (CEA 2006). That means 1000 Watts or better for most amp manufacturers, by the way. Kinda pricey too.
