This was the best subwoofer I have ever owned, and I regret selling it!!! The attack of the bass is so quick for having what seems like a heavy cone. The cone is really stiff with a compliant surround, and it moves really well even with lower power. I used to install lots of competition vehicles in the 90s and 2000s. This sub model has a very pleasing yet loud and powerful bass authority, but the best part of it is how realistic the sound quality is. It's very holographic in its presentation. I like the SQ aspect of it far more than even the Image Dynamics IDQ or IDMax series.
