These speakers are very detailed. They have a great sound that brings out details that you have not heard in the music before. The only downside is they did not fit in my 98 civic. I had to cut the door panels and improvise to get them into my factory tweeter locations. Bass extension could be a little lower but that is mostly due to me installing them in the door panel without any sound deadening. I would definitely recommend the VR series; they are a big step up from the TR series and worth the extra money.
