the best sounding speakers hands downs, listened to side by side with MB Quarts Q series and blew them out of the water !! the hex series wants alot of power needs at least 65 watts RMS to really bring them to life !!
Very hot set. However they sound just like the 230$ m6 series though at lower power.
Kevin from Wash. the components can only give you the quality of sound that your stereo and amps put out. With a higher end system you can hear a big difference between the M6's and the HEX. The highs are very crystal clear and the mids(including voice)are precise and loud. The passive crossovers are not bi-ampable, but, they don't need to be, since the circuitry is very well engineered. The frequencys are very well distributed to the twits and mids and the volumes are very well balanced. These components are the best even though they're modestly priced. They should cost more, but, they don't and that's the best part of them.
Very good sounding speakers. Crystal clear highs and strong mid bass from a small speaker. They need a lot of power to sound their best and the highs can be a little harsh. I think I would buy the S600s with the silk tweeter if I were to buy them again. Overall a very good speaker for the price!
