these are awesome speakers.they hit hard. I replaced my excelon x690 speakers with these and what a difference. I thought my deck lid was rattling before so i dynamted it.still there,then i removed the rear deck lid cover and watched the woofer cones on both speakers one on each side.the excelon would reverebrat cone would bounce side to side at about half volume these i could go another 4 clicks on volume knob before any distortion.these blow the doors off of the excelons i had in there.and the bass response was doubled.also i have mid range frequencies from my rear speakers now toothem they work great go with these or the new hed69 speakers or really kick it up with the vmag 6x9's.but these will satisfy almost anyone for 6x9 speakersw i unhook my sub and can barely tell the difference.the only thing i noticed installing these is the cage that mounts the speaker is a little wider than most 6x9's.easy enought to fix though.but still should be standard size for oem speaker install.either weay though very nice,highly recommended.
