  • I love them! I upgraded from so low end subs and I can't beleive the difference. Got a good deal on the from a local audio store. 400 bucks for 2 12" M6's. I am powering them with a 2400 watt American Bass Amp....

  • I have had my share of subs over the past 15 years and these are my favorites for punchy rock music. Like em so much, I not only use them in my Toyota SUV, but also in my Home audio application off of a 540 watt class G amp. These are very clean woofers that have great snap to them. I recommend a vented (transmission style) enclosure for best results. (so does Diamone) I drive these subs off of a Zappco Reference 750 amp that is 360w x 2 in 2 ohlm stereo and it's plenty of power. This base is loud, tight and clean. Like it much better than the JL w-3 and w7 at a fraction of the costs.

  • you cant blast a woofer as soon as you get it. you have to break them in first. thats why you blew them up.

  • Amazing! driven with half the power it blows away my friend's w7. the best sq i've ever experienced in a car audio subwoofer, very musical. it looks great and can handle more power than its rated for... i started at 500 watts rms into 2 ohms wired in parallel and now i am up to a true 700 watts rms by 2 into 4 ohms driving each coil seperately in a .8 cubic foot sealed box and it never over travels or sounds like crap. look nowhere else this is the ultimate sub

  • Man mostly everyone on here gave the score of perfect 10's while i am proud of these subs myself.. they are not anything compared to the 13w7's those subs make eye lashes vibrate. now dont get me wrong if u have only 400 dollars to spend on subs then these diamonds are the way to go. i bought them when they first came out for 350 and got em both for 239.99 each.. i had them hooked up to the MC 1000d memphis amp. in a camaro. At red lights i made peoples rear view mirrors vibrate. if u have bitchy nieghbors expect to get the cops called on u when ur just chillin listening to it in your garage. So they are the BEST SPEAKERS FOR THE PRICE. but if money aint an option then these arent even in the top 10 of the best subs out there. (i think that people on here forgot to realize that a 5 isnt a bad thing.. a 5 means average.. and a 10 means unbeatable. theres not a sub in the world thats a 10 cause if there was then they would stop making better ones. duh.)

  • Running this sub in my car for 3 years with 900watts from an eD 9.1 amp in a ported AudioEnhancers enclosure.. I love it,great SQL durable as hell.gets low and loud and its still in my car now. I beat the snots out of this sub and it never fails me,even when playing heavy bass Rap music The guy who blew his pair in 2 weeks should learn to operate an amp...

  • These subs rule, i had 2 of them in a ported box that a 5-Time Iasca and Usac World Champion built, with a Planet 4000D amp, wired to run 1125 Watts RMS per sub. these things hit so hard that I have been sued twice, my car virtually fell apart and i now hear a constant ringing in my ears. Lasted for 3 years before they gave up, and absolutely pounded the whole time, were talking bout cant drive and bump at the same time loud. Definetely anexcellent sub for anyone serious about their bass, and you can laugh at the clowns that paid JL an extra $500 per sub. With the correct ported box, a good quality high power amp or two, and correct subsonic filter frequency these subs will last and give you a sound that nobody forgets.

  • I have 2 of these subs in the atrend dual 12 ported flat pack, and these things are absolutly crazy. i have them runnin off a Sony XS-GTX1852, 100 watt sony amp, at 370 WRMS to both sub and my gains not even half way up and ve already been pulled over, broken my winsheild and rattled my rear veiw right off. now i do not know exactly how much these were brand new, cause i bout mine $50 bucks each from a friend and tey were BRAND NEW IN THE BOX, he had never even opened em, before i got em i was gonna save up and get the 13.5 Dual 1.5 ohm W7,im so glad i didnt waste all my money on those, these subs out perform W7's and Type R's all day long. and i know i dont have the best amp ever, but regardless, these subs slam.
